I should clear one thing is, In many schools, Hindi subject introduce in LKG. The nursery doesn't contain Hindi subject. In many schools, kids don't have consonants. They have only vowels. Only they learn how to identify and write vowels. First, we introduce vowels through tracing.

Tracing Worksheets
- I made this worksheet only for this is a practice worksheet. I made dots and arrows using red color. That kids have to trace it.
- kids have to start from the red color dot and reach to an arrow by continuous drawing. Initially, you should teach it by doing your self. After this, they will start their self.
- You can also make this type of worksheet for consonants. It will be easy for them if we teach by showing directions.
Next is to identify pictures and make a circle in their first letter.
- This worksheet is only for vowels. The first is 'Imarat'. First is 'इमारत'. So should make a circle on 'इ'. Next is 'ऊन' then make a circle on 'ऊ'. Last is 'एलबम'. So make a circle on 'ए'.
Next is to identify each letter and color it.
- I have written vowels and colored it. Downside kids have to identify it and fill the same color as given above.
Next is, make a circle in a different letter.
- In the first row, there is 'अ' is different so we will make a circle on it. In the next row 'ऊ' is different so we will make a circle on it.
- Kids have to complete this worksheet. Some times kids have confusion between 'इ' and 'ई' or 'ए' and 'अ'. If we teach like that it can clear this confusion.
Next is, write the first letter of the picture.
- First is 'अंगुर'. so kids have to write 'अं'. Next is 'अनार'. so they should write 'अ'. This is 'ऊन'. so have to write 'ऊ'. This is 'आम'. so they have to write 'आ'.
Next is, match letters.
- I made this for both vowels and consonants. Kids have to identify letters and match with the correct one. Next is understand and speak loudly. There is one side two letters word and the other side three letters word.
- Till we have seen basic worksheets. Now we will see advanced worksheets. There is a very little syllabus in the nursery for the Hindi subject. They have only tracing activities, vowels, and Hindi rhymes.
- If your kids are able to write consonants then we can use these worksheets.
Make a word by adding letters.
Next is cross on a word.
- Cross on a word that is not suitable for the sentence.
Next is, match the letter and make a circle on it.
Next is, read, and understand.
- There are very simple sentences. kids can read it easily.
Next is fill colors in the letter according to the picture.
