• In the last blog, I have shared worksheets for pre-writing lines and shapes. First kids should practice pre-writing lines and shapes. Then we will teach picture Tracing and coloring.

• Now we will see, why is it important for kids to practice lines and picture Tracing and coloring. The reason is that, before teaching writing, they should able to hold a pencil properly.

• The writing skills of kids are dependent on how they hold a pencil. So first we should teach pencil holding.

• Don't give a pencil to hold on. you can give a marker because it is a little bit thicker than a pencil. so kids can hold it easily.

• You can put these Worksheets in plastic cover and make one separate file. So children can practice it again and again. The second thing is that the finger movement should be good to write.

• children should be capable to move pencil in all directions. For that, they can do picture tracing. Because any pictures contain all shapes and lines.

Coloring Worksheets

• The picture contains different sizes of shapes, lines, small and big curves. So to improve finger movement picture tracing and coloring are much important.

• Kids are always interested to draw and to color pictures. So it will be easy for us to teach pencil holding and to improve finger movement.
• Sometimes kids don't like to trace direct ABCD and Numbers. But if we give them pictures for tracing then they will take an interest.
