UKG Worksheets Maths | Part 1

This is the Maths syllabus for the UKG class that I had shared in my last video. Again I am showing you because today we will see worksheets according to this syllabus. You can visit UKG Syllabus and UKG English Worksheets and Daily Practice Worksheets.

  • I have written eleven topics. we will follow all topics one by one.
  • The first is the numbers  (1 to 200).


Fill the missing numbers

  • kids need to fill numbers in the blanks. This is for 1 to 100. you can make it up to 200. By practicing it, kids will try to memorize numbers in series. 
  • Now we will see worksheets of counting. Number names, count the dots, and write the number.


Number Counting

  • I have done the first example. you can see. In the first box, there is one dot. so have to write 1. In the second box there are 3 dots so have to write 3. If there are 2 dots then should write 2.
  • kids should write numbers after calculating all dots. I have written a number of words in each box. So kids can see it again and again. And try to memorize it. In the last column, there are numbers. Kids have to make dots according to numbers.


Next is count and write.

  • There are some symbols. Kids need to count all symbols and write numbers accordingly. For example, there are a total of 4 circles. so they have to write 4.


Next is count and match.

  • One side there is dice and the other side numbers. Kids have to match it.

Read the numbers. Draw to show how many? Write the numbers name.

  • I have already done the first example. Kids should read the first number then draw something according to numbers. like I have drawn flowers. Then write the number in word.


Match the numbers of items with the correct numbers.

  • First kids have to count pictures and match with the correct number.


 Before, Between and After.

  • They can practice this after they are able to write all numbers.


Count forward and backward.

  • Count forward means kids have to write numbers in series from left to right. If they write by speaking loudly then it will be easy for them to remember numbers in series. 
  • Next is, count backward. Here they have to write to numbers in the opposite direction from right to left.


Complete Number Names

  • If you want to teach number names, they can fill names in this worksheet. Then complete the pattern.
  • In Between We should introduce this type of fun activity otherwise kids will be bored. In the first row, there is a square, circle, square, circle again square. 
  • What will be next?  We should ask kids. The answer is again it will be a circle. They can also fill colors in this pattern.

Picture addition

  • Initially, we should not teach addition using numbers. We should teach using pictures. Kids have to complete this worksheet by loudly speaking each number.

  • Now we will teach addition and subtraction using objects. There are objects with numbers.
  • There are two trees that don't have an apple. Using this we can teach the concept of 'zero'. I will share more worksheets with you.
